Utsatt til 2021 – mer info kommer!
The Norwegian Association of Medical Physics and the Danish Society for Medical Physics is honored to welcome you to NACP Symposium, NACP’s triennial conference, this year in collaboration with the Icelandic Society, in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The NACP symposium is a meeting for medical physicists and will cover subjects of interest for medical physicists working within the fields of diagnostics and therapy. The meeting will focus on technical issues within diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy, and aims to include discussions of clinical practice.
The symposium will be held in Reykjavik May 10-12 2020. The topic of the symposium is «Novel medical technologies – applications, assessment and implementations».
Sunday May 10: Pre-conference workshops
Monday and Tuesday May 11-12: Conference
Sunday: Informal welcome dinner
Monday: Blue lagoon: Spa visit and dinner
Tuesday: Gala dinner in breathtaking surroundings at Harpa
The symposium will consist of plenary sessions and parallel sessions.
There will also be pre-conference clinical application workshops on Sunday 10th.
The overall theme for NACP2020 is «Novel medical technologies – applications, assessment, and implementation». In addition to a scientific program with invited talks trying to catch some of the most innovative and significant technologies and trends in the horizon, an important vision about the symposium is to facilitate interaction between research groups and clinical environments. In addition to traditional scientific sessions, the symposium will include more informal workshops for exchange of knowledge about clinical procedures and challenges.
Therefore, abstracts can be submitted to either the “Main program” or to ”Clinical application workshops”. Contributions to the main program follow a traditional research format (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion), whereas a contribution to a clinical application workshop have a more free format and can e.g. be inspired by a clinical need or a practical problem without any systematic results to report. Abstract length is maximum 3000 characters (including space) with up to 2 figures or tables.
